Is it really free?

Yes. Every tool is free. No sign-up, no watermark, no limits. Your own device does the work, so it costs us almost nothing to run.

Do you upload my files?

No. Your file stays on your phone or computer the whole time. We never receive it and can't see it.

Is it safe for private documents?

Yes. Bank statements, medical reports, contracts and ID cards never leave your device. You can check: load the page, turn off Wi-Fi, and editing still works.

Can I change the text that's already in a PDF?

Yes. Tap the Text tool, tap the words and type. The new text matches the original font and size.

Does it work with scanned documents?

Yes. Use OCR in All tools to read the words in a scan. It knows 29 languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Bengali and Arabic. Then you can search, copy and edit the text.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes. It works in the browser on Android phones, iPhones, tablets, Macs and Windows PCs. There's nothing to install.

Is there a file size limit?

Not from us. Very large files may be slow on older phones, because your device does the work.

Can I open a password-protected PDF?

Yes, if you know the password. The copy you download won't need a password.
